Amanda C. Hsiao

Amanda C. Hsiao focuses her practice on estate planning, including special needs planning and long-term care planning, as well as estate and trust administration.  She is a graduate of Haverford College (B.A., English), the Ohio State University (M.A., English), and the University of Cincinnati College of Law (J.D.). While at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Amanda was a fellow in the Urban Morgan Institute for Human Rights, a senior articles editor for the Human Rights Quarterly, and an articles editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review

Attorney Hsiao began her legal career as a legal services attorney in rural western New York, representing low-income clients in SSI and SSDI cases before the Social Security Administration. In 2014, Amanda and her family moved to Massachusetts, and she worked at estate planning firms in Belmont and Wayland for several years before joining us. 

She is a member of the Massachusetts chapter of NAELA (National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys), and is active in their Special Needs Steering Committee, and their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. Amanda is also a member of the Women’s Bar Association, and volunteers as a mentor attorney for its Elder Law Project. She is licensed to practice law in New York and Massachusetts.
